Will Musto graduated from Chattanooga Christian High School in 2008, and matriculated in August, 2008, to Montreat College near Asheville, NC. After two years at Montreat, Will transferred to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga for the spring semester of 2011. At UT-Chattanooga, Will is studying marketing.
He began endeavoring into the field of design before he was ten years old; he built his first website in 1999, a fan site for his then-favorite New York Mets baseball player, Edgardo Alfonzo. From there, he shifted towards journalism, and eventually published the New York Mets news website SheaBaseball.com. At its peak, SheaBaseball.com was in the top 50,000 most viewed websites on the Internet, according to the information website Alexa.com.
Will shut down SheaBaseball.com in 2006 to allow him to focus on other projects, but the skills he had learned while operating the website stuck with him. He did occasional freelance web design work for various websites until 2008, when he began a focused effort to create a name for himself as a corporate brand developer.
In addition to the design skills learned while operating SheaBaseball.com, Will also realized that he had a talent for photography. He learned this at a ballgame when he borrowed his father’s camera in an attempt to provide exclusive material for his website. Though his roots are in sports photography, Will has branched into natural photography and cityscapes as well. A partial portfolio can be found at his flickr username willmusto.
