I’ve been involved in journalism since my days as the publisher of SheaBaseball.com. Including recaps, opinion editorials, and feature stories, I covered the entire New York Mets organization. I have also covered local baseball and endurance sporting events for The Chattanoogan and TennesseeRunner.com.

Recently I’ve been involved in commentating track meets for Flotrack, a website which endeavors to provide video coverage of as many high school, college and professional track meets in the United States as possible.
At the 2010 TSSAA State Track and Field Championship meet, Howard Academy of Academics Technology sophomore LaQuisha Jackson ran a state record in the 100 meter dash when she covered the distance in 11.46 seconds. Here’s how I called the race:
It is said that the 1600 meter relay is the most exciting event in track and field. At the 2009 TSSAA State Track and Field Championship meet, The Baylor School’s girls relay team squared off against Hutchison School in a race that went down to the wire. Here’s how I called it:
